Taught at nearly a year of classes, and required from blue belt on up, board breaking is a way for studends to demonstrate their focus, timing and force.  Board breaking is first taught with a hand technique, then a foot technique.  All testing from brown belt rank and up require series board breaking.

Series board break is accomplished by moving fluidly from one target to the next, breaking them in sequence.  Additional challenges of flying, spinning, and speed techniques ensure that each testing is unique, while demonstrating that the student has proper focus to target points, as well as proper power and technique to break the boards.
